"(On her first Japanese concert held in September last year) What touched me the most of all was how they were standing throughout the concert from the opening stage to the end. It was a concert that lasted about 3 hours, but not a single person sat down to watch… because of that I sang in a really good mood. The Japanese fans’ ‘watching posture’ left a very good impression on me."

Korean singer IU, who successfully held her solo live concert at Tokyo International Forum last September has released another album after a long break. The mini-album ‘Can You Hear Me?’ is her first original Japanese album. The production team includes hit producers Jam & Lewis who worked with Janet Jackson and other stars, and the album presents a fresh image of IU unlike what we have seen from her so far. (In this interview,) we asked her about her thoughts on this original Japanese album as well as her activities in Korea recently.
